Defibrillator/CPR Training
Local First Responders gave us an overview of what to do in the event of a possible heart attack

We were welcomed to the evening by the Community First Responder team, and given an overview of the evening’s training. They were particularly keen to ask us all to use the app What3Words as this is the easiest way to find us in an emergency. (The app can be set to only use your location when it is in use).
There was a demonstration of the process we would go through if we found someone unconscious. We were then split into groups to practise on the Resuscitation dummies
We had plenty of time to ask questions, practise and learn a little about how it would feel to be in a position to help someone.
Thankyou to the CFR team, all volunteers, we could see they were passionate about their role and supported each other.
We will run further training sessions.
